Think this hallway is creepy? Well, join us on “All Hallows Eve” (erm, October 31st for those who don’t know) for a spooky trip down the “Riverbend Hallway of Horrors,” for some gruesome (kid friendly) fun. From 5:00 pm on, bring your costumed kid(s) to the Common building, and we’ll show you the way! If you make it to the other side, treats, games and music await you!
Then, once the little trick-or-treaters are tucked safely away, adults are invited to attend a creepy costume party from 9-midnight. We’ll have our resident DJ spinning to set the mood, prizes for best costumes, and refreshments. (BYOB, if that’s your thing.)
All events are brought to you by the Zombie Social Committee, and your family and friends are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you there! Mostly because we want to eat your brains.
Congratulations to our two “Get Social” contest winners, Dana & Lori. Each of them will enjoy a River Market “food crawl” valued at $25 each, and of course, they’ll get our seasonal e-newsletter in their inboxes. Double win! You can get the e-newsletter too, just SIGN UP HERE.
Join the Riverbend Social Committee for this great St Patrick’s Day themed event.
$1 gets you 1 bingo card or $2 gets you 3! The money will be entered into a 50/50 grand prize with half of the proceeds being donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
We look forward to seeing you there!

We want you to like us. In fact, we want you to like us so much, that we’re willing to bribe you. This month, when you join the Riverbend facebook group, you’ll be entered for a chance to win 1 of 2 Food Crawl passports from River Market (valued at $25.00 each). But wait! We understand that not everyone uses Facebook or even email. Therefore, the contest will be open to new subscribers to the e-newsletter or those members who opt to subscribe to a paper copy of the newsletter. We would prefer to use as little paper as humanly possible to keep costs and waste down, so please, only sign up for the paper newsletter if you have no email or internet and you are actually interested in reading the newsletter. (I kn0w what you’re thinking, if they don’t have internet or email, they aren’t reading this, but I’m writing it for those of you who do.) Here’s the fine print:
Good luck!
(A big thanks to the folks at River Market for helping strengthen our “social” community.)
Join Leslie, Tara and Kaleila for a fiesta dance party!
